I live in Southern California and I drive a 2012 Sprinter. That’s the whole origin story.

One tank of gas is all it takes for me to go from fish tacos in Ensenada to fresh powder laps in Mammoth, desert nights under ridiculous stars, or sunrise surf — sometimes all in the same long weekend.

I got tired of the over-edited, sponsor-heavy, “you need $50k in gear” travel content. So I built this site to share the places I actually go, the food I actually eat, and the free campsites I actually sleep at — all reachable in roughly 12 hours from SoCal (give or take).

No fancy rigs. No clickbait. No 10-step checklists.
Just good street tacos, empty forest roads, cold rivers, powder mornings, and the exact GPS so you can get there yourself.
